2-DAY TRIP (10am start)

ITINERARY:

Day 1
10:00 amArrive in camp
10:30 amOrientation and safety talk under the canopy at Twin Pines Camp.
11:00 amA hearty lunch (chicken fajitas) is served
12:00 pmLeave camp and take the bus ride up-river. All personal belongings can be left in your car until we arrive back in camp.
1:00 pmArrive at Garnet Dyke put-in; group divides into crews of up to 7 and then we hit the rapids!
4:00 pmArrive back in camp. Time to relax and enjoy happy hour, volleyball, horseshoes, etc...
5:30 pmSpecial viewing of photos and videos of the day's action!
6:30 pmDinner (tri tip and BBQ chicken) is served
8:00 pmIce cream sundaes for dessert
Day 2
7:30 amA hot breakfast (eggs, sausages, pancakes, juice and coffee) is served
8:00 amOrientation and safety talk under the canopy at Twin Pines Camp
9:00 amLeave camp and take the bus ride up-river. All personal belongings can be left in your car until we arrive back in camp.
10:00 amArrive at Garnet Dyke put-in; group divides into crews of up to 7 and then we hit the rapids!
1:00 pmArrive back in camp and enjoy a BBQ lunch (burgers and chips)
2:00 pmGet your free t-shirt, say good-byes, end of trip

2023 PRICES:

Trips can be booked by private boat (4-6 guests) or individually. Individuals must agree to share a boat with guests they do not know.

2 Day Thursday / Friday - $295

2 Day Friday / Saturday - $350

2 Day Saturday / Sunday - $350

Specials

Student Special: A one-day trip available on select dates for student groups (Scouts, youth, church, summer camps, school groups, etc). A valid student ID is required. Trip includes a bus ride up-river and an 8-10 mile guided raft ride down the river. Student groups meet in our base camp and bring their own lunch. Water and lemonade are provided in camp.

Friends & Family Special: A one-day trip available on select spring and peak season dates. The trip includes a BBQ lunch and a full run down the river.

Rental Information

Tent Rentals:

Two person tent with two sleeping pads - $20/night.

Items available for rent:

  • Farmer John style wetsuit
  • Paddle Jacket
  • Wetsuit booties

1 item = $5/day

Up to 3 items = $10/day

Payment Plans

Payment Plan:

  • A $40/person deposit is due on the day the reservation is made.
  • The remaining balance is due 60 days before the trip.

Cancellations & Refunds

  • There is a $40 per person deposit due when you make a reservation.
  • There are NO REFUNDS on reservation deposits so make sure you want to go on this trip before making a reservation!
  • Guests who provide written notice of cancellation 31 or more days prior to the trip departure will forfeit the $40 per person deposit only. No refunds will be made on cancellations within 30 days of departure.
  • Reservations can be transferred to an alternative date within the same season with no penalties 30 or more days prior to the original reservation date. Individual substitutions can be made with no penalty.
  • Trips are run rain or shine. No-shows forfeit all payments made.
  • We cannot make exceptions for personal emergencies and highly recommend travel insurance.
  • All payments are immediately refunded in the unlikely event that Kings River Expeditions is forced to cancel due to river conditions.
